Craggy Range grows this on the lower terraces of its Te Muna Road vineyard just outside Martinborough, where river stones and a cool, windy site keep ripening slow and the fruit tight. It is the estate's Te Muna Sauvignon Blanc — less tropical punch than Marlborough, more texture and stony line.
Over 50 parcels go into the 2025, most fermented in stainless steel to keep the blossom and stone-fruit notes forward, with a share in French and Austrian oak for weight. Only 13% of the fruit was hand-picked. Three months on lees, then fined and filtered.
The 2025 scored 97 points and Platinum at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2026. Wine Spectator 93 pts. The winery has been family owned since 1998.
