Named for the year Don Julio González founded his distillery, 1942 is the prestige añejo in the Don Julio lineup — aged a minimum of two and a half years in American oak, well beyond the one-year category minimum. The extended aging produces a rich, layered spirit with vanilla, caramel, and cinnamon over roasted agave, with a long, warming finish. The 375mL format offers an accessible entry to a premium bottle.
