Viña Echeverría has farmed the same ungrafted, pre-phylloxera vines in Molina since 1923 — four generations and one of the oldest operating vineyards in Chile. The "No Es Pituko" line was their answer to a different question: what if we stopped adding anything? Wild-fermented with no additives, no added sulfites, bottled unfined and unfiltered. James Suckling scored the 2022 at 90 points, calling out "dark cherries, dark plums, toasted bread and baking spices."
Cold skin maceration at low temperature before indigenous yeast fermentation in stainless steel, then held on its own lees until bottling. The result sits somewhere between a natural Rhône blend and a fresh Chilean red — earthy and structured, with the grip that comes from keeping your hands off the wine.
