The oldest age statement Elijah Craig currently makes. Heaven Hill brought the 21 Year Single Barrel back on National Bourbon Day 2026, debuting it at the Heaven Hill Bourbon Experience in Bardstown, above the 15- and 18-year single barrels in the line.

One barrel per bottle, each dumped and bottled on its own, with the barrel number and bottling date handwritten on the label. It comes in at 94 proof, up from the 90 proof of the last 21 Year release in 2013. The distillery's notes run toasted oak, leather and spice on the nose, milk chocolate, toasted nuts and burnt caramel on the palate, then molasses, barrel char and pepper on the finish. Barrels vary; that's the point of a single barrel.

Beyond the distillery drop, Heaven Hill set aside 1,789 bottles for select markets, a nod to the year Elijah Craig is credited with first making bourbon. Each comes in a wooden display case.
