Fort Hamilton is a Brooklyn distillery — Industry City in Sunset Park — founded by Alex Clark and Amy Grindeland, who've been barreling since 2016. The Double Barrel is a high-rye blend: a 70/25/5 mash from NY-grown grain at Taconic Distillery in Stanfordville, married with MGP's 60/36/4 Indiana mash bill, both aged a minimum of three years in 53-gallon char level 3 barrels, then blended and bottled at 46% non-chill filtered.

Wine Enthusiast named it to their Top 100 Spirits of 2024. Skurnik calls it "a perfect cocktailing whiskey" — the rye backbone holds its shape in a Manhattan or Old Fashioned, and the non-chill filtering keeps the texture intact neat. Orthodox Union Kosher Certified Pareve.
