Maison Foucher-Lebrun is a petit négociant based 30 kilometers northeast of Sancerre — curators of value-priced Loire expressions since 1921. This Petit Le Mont is the baby sister to their Sancerre Blanc "Le Mont," made from organically farmed vineyards where Touraine meets Haut Poitou and labeled Vin de France so the price stays honest.

Fermented in stainless steel and aged on the lees before a spring bottling, the 2025 is racy and energetic — vivid citrus, white grapefruit pith, and a hint of exotic fruit, with more texture than the price tag suggests.
