FUSO is a wine project from Porto Vino, an Italian importer that sources from farmers it knows personally and bottles what they grow. The collaborators here are the Russo family — matriarch Daniela and her three sons — who have worked nine hectares in Maretto since founding Crotin in 1897. Certified organic on white marine limestone and sandy soils.

Tèh blends four indigenous Piemontese grapes — Barbera, Freisa, Grignolino, and Bonarda — co-fermented with about a week on skins, then aged in stainless steel and cement with no filtration or fining. The name is Piemontese dialect for "you," informal and familiar. The wine is built in the same register: lean, chalky, raspberry-forward, Barbera's acidity pulling long against the grip of Freisa and Grignolino. Semplice ma non banalé — simple but not boring.
