Gran Agave comes from the highlands of Jalisco, where Destilería Santa Lucía has been operating since the 1940s. The production is traditional end to end: hand-harvested agave piñas slow-roasted in brick ovens, fermented on wild yeast, and distilled in copper pot stills — the kind of process that trades efficiency for character.

Punch named it one of the five best blanco tequilas under $50 in a 2025 tasting focused on purity and value — describing it as “a rich, almost milky expression that manages to be both zippy and restrained, with a pleasant temple spice–like note on the nose.” At $33 for a full liter, the math speaks for itself.
