A bottled Manhattan with an Irish accent — three American rye whiskeys and two Irish whiskeys, blended 75/25, then finished with cherry and aromatic bitters and a splash of cherry juice. The cherry carries the color and the finish, with the rye spice running underneath.

The name belongs to the Irish-born tailor whose Queen Street shop in Lower Manhattan dressed British officers — officers who talked more than they should have, to the benefit of Washington's side.
