The 12-Year sits in the middle of Jack Daniel's Aged Series, two years and ten proof points above the 10-Year and a step short of the 14. Same mash bill as Old No. 7, same mellowing through ten feet of sugar maple charcoal, twelve years in Lynchburg rickhouses.

Batch 4 leans harder on oak than the earlier releases did. Cherry still runs through it, the signature that has followed this bottling since Batch 1, but the aged wood takes the lead and the finish lands dry and peppery rather than sweet. Breaking Bourbon 3.5/5, calling it a bold, age-forward sip. The Daily Pour ranked it the most balanced pour of the three 2026 Aged Series releases.

Bottled at 107 proof in 700mL, not the usual 750. Jack Daniel's has said 18- and 21-year bottlings are coming, which makes this a reasonable place to start keeping track.
