Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 is the world's best-selling whiskey — made in Lynchburg, Tennessee since 1866, using iron-free limestone spring water from Cave Spring Hollow on the distillery grounds. Before any barrel contact, the new make spirit is dripped drop by drop through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal. That step — the Lincoln County Process — is what legally defines Tennessee Whiskey and gives Old No. 7 its characteristic smoothness.

The mash is 80% corn, 8% rye, 12% malted barley, fermented six days, distilled to 140 proof, then aged in new American white oak barrels hand-built at the distillery's own cooperage. No age statement — it's ready when the tasters say it is.
