Jack Daniel's first major line extension, introduced in 1988, Gentleman Jack runs through the Lincoln County Process twice — once before barreling into new charred American oak, and once again after aging, just before bottling. The second charcoal mellowing is the defining move: it shaves off the rougher grain and oak edges and produces a softer, cleaner finish than Old No. 7.

Distilled at the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Moore County — America's oldest registered distillery, established in 1875. The 1.75L is the house-party format for a household name: the same recipe, the same mellowing, at the right size for a cocktail night.
