Joseph Gold & Sons has been distilling arak in Israel since 1824, and the Elite expression carries that heritage with a base of select Mediterranean grape distillate infused with the finest aniseed, then rested to allow the flavors to integrate. Arak is the Middle Eastern counterpart to ouzo and pastis — clear in the bottle, it turns milky white when mixed with water or ice. Kosher for Passover.
