Named for the Byzantine castle overlooking the olive groves of Nafpaktos, Kastra Elion is one of the few vodkas in the world built around handpicked Greek olives. The olives are blended with curated grains and local spring water, distilled multiple times, then rested 30 days before bottling.
The result has a character all its own. Wine Enthusiast awarded 90 points, describing "mild almond sweetness" winding into "a faint, mouthwatering touch of salinity." Drinkhacker's Christopher Null gave an A-, calling it "so fresh and bright and creamy in texture" with a gentle grassy quality driven by the olive distillate.
