Sauvignonasse — known as Friulano just across the border in Italy — is the indigenous white of Goriška Brda, Slovenia's finest wine region. "Krasno" means beautiful in Slovenian. This is the classic expression of the grape: soft, herbal, and quietly mineral, without the aggression of Sauvignon Blanc proper.
