Domaine de la Patience sits in Bezouce, a village near the Pont du Gard between Nîmes and Avignon. Christophe Aguilar took over his family's 1930 estate in 1998 and converted to certified organic farming in 2007 — 100 hectares now carry AB and Ecocert certification across sandstone, pebble, and loess soils. The estate takes its name from la patience, a wild aromatic Mediterranean herb that grows throughout the vineyard.
Short spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel, minimal sulfur, light filtration, no oak. Bottled a few months after harvest and built to be served chilled — a proper Mediterranean everyday red.
