Three generations of organic conviction in Faucon, near Vaison-la-Romaine: a beekeeper grandfather, a father who pioneered Rhône organics in the 1980s, and Antoine and Laurence Joly, who have vinified the whole estate themselves since 2003. Prémices — "first fruits" — is the entry red.

All concrete, no oak, native yeast, no added sulfur, unfined and unfiltered. The cool, fresh 2021 vintage suits the Joly's early-picking, lower-alcohol style perfectly. Serve with a slight chill.
