Liquid Fables opened in 2021 in a century-old factory building on Beacon's Main Street — Matt and Laura Green's project to turn classic fables into canned cocktails made with New York State spirits and farm-sourced ingredients. A NY State Farm Distilling License requires at least 75% of agricultural inputs to come from in-state farms; spirits come from a Finger Lakes distillery, the lemon and mint from upstate farms.

The Tortoise & The Hare is the brand's slow-sipper — 7% ABV, bright and clean, built for the opposite of chugging. Voted Best Cocktails of the Hudson Valley three years running.
