Lubanzi sources this blend from shale-soil, dry-farmed bush vines just south of the Swartland — South Africa's low-intervention proving ground, where old vines dig deep into decomposed granite for concentration rather than yield. The blend leans 90% Sauvignon Blanc, but the 10% Colombard spends 30 days on its skins before joining the mix, adding texture and a savory edge that a straight Sauvignon Blanc doesn't usually carry.

Founded by two backpackers who followed a stray dog for six days across the Wild Coast, Lubanzi is a Certified B Corp and Fair Trade producer that channels profits back to farmworker communities through the Pebbles Project — nearly $600,000 generated to date.
