Michter's annual barrel-strength rye release is bottled without dilution from individual barrels at the Shively Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky — so the proof varies with every release. Recent editions have run from 107 to 115 proof, each bottle carrying its individual barrel number and proof on the label. The same Kentucky straight rye mashbill as the standard US*1, at full barrel concentration: more viscosity, deeper rye spice, more concentrated oak extraction, and a finish that extends considerably longer. No chill filtration. Kosher certified. Rated A / 9.5 out of 10 by Drinkhacker (2025).
