Drawn from barrels in the heart of the warehouse after fifteen years in deep-charred oak and bottled at 107 proof (53.5% ABV). The recipe is the family's wheated one — wheat in place of rye, the swap Pappy Van Winkle built Stitzel-Weller on when it opened on Derby Day, 1935 — and it has been made at Buffalo Trace in Frankfort since 2002.

Caramel corn and vanilla on the nose, then a rich, supple entry into caramel, toffee, leather and peppery brown spice, with a long fade of spice and oak tannin. Same proof as the 10 Year, five more years of wood. San Francisco World Spirits Competition Gold, 2019; Drinkhacker graded the 2019 release an A.
