The 17th edition of Heaven Hill's Parker's Heritage Collection, released in 2023, is a 10-year-old Kentucky straight rye built from 142 barrels filled in August, October and December of 2012, then aged on floors from the first to the seventh across Rickhouses H1, H2, FF, BB and DD. It went into the bottle at cask strength with no water added and no chill filtration. It's only the second rye in the series, and Heaven Hill calls it its oldest cask strength rye.

The mash bill sits right at the 51% rye minimum, so the corn sweetness carries through the spice. Heaven Hill's notes lead with black cherry, honey, cinnamon and clove. Whisky Advocate found chocolate fudge, almond and vanilla cream, called it surprisingly sweet for a cask-strength rye, and noted it opens up with a few drops of water. A portion of every bottle's proceeds went to the ALS Association in honor of Parker Beam. Whisky Advocate 92 pts. VinePair 95 pts.
