Carey Bringle is a fourth-generation Tennessee pitmaster who skipped the Lincoln County Process so he could later filter through his own charcoal — hickory coals from the BBQ pit at his Nashville restaurant. That single decision is why the bottle reads Tennessee Straight Bourbon and not Tennessee Whiskey, and it’s the brand’s whole pitch.

Sourced bourbon (historically Dickel; from 2019 also contract-distilled at Tennessee Distilling in Columbia), aged four to six years in new charred American oak, bottled in Nashville. World’s Best Bourbon at the 2023 Tasting Alliance World Championship; Platinum at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
