Base gin distilled by New York Distilling Company, finished at Kings County Distillery — both Brooklyn addresses, so the Local tag here is a production fact, not a marketing line.

Fresh tomato leaf and stem are pulverized with cucumber and apple pulp, clarified by centrifuge, and blended into the base gin — a process built specifically to avoid the cooked, ceviche-like character a naive tomato infusion produces. Proofed down with low-pH water to keep those top notes intact.

Founder Will Schragis traces the idea to tomato plants grown on a childhood apartment balcony — what he's after is the smell of the plant at peak season, not a garnish.
