RGNY farms the North Fork of Long Island under a certified-sustainable program, a maritime stretch of peninsula often compared to Bordeaux for its long, cool growing season and moderating sea breezes. The Rivero González family — winemakers in Parras, Coahuila, Mexico for over two decades before acquiring this property in 2018 — built the Scielo NY line as the easy-drinking, occasion-first counterpart to their more serious North Fork reds.
This canned pour draws on the same Bordeaux-style blend program as the bottled Scielo Tinto, hand-harvested and built for soft, elegant tannins rather than cellar time. Each 250ml can holds roughly one glass — no corkscrew, no glassware, chill it and go. 91 pts, Wine.com.
