Ron Zacapa is produced in the Guatemalan highlands at 2,300 meters altitude, where cooler temperatures slow maturation and develop exceptional complexity. The "23" refers to the maximum age in the solera system, which blends rums aged between 6 and 23 years across a progression of American oak, ex-bourbon, ex-sherry, and Pedro Ximénez casks. Rich and dessert-forward, but balanced enough to drink neat.
