Rosha began as a family experimentation cellar in the Kakhetian village of Akura in 2015, turning into a proper winery within two years under chief winemaker Tengo, who learned the qvevri tradition on his own family's vines before working his way through four different Kakhetian producers. This blend pairs Rkatsiteli, sourced from vines planted more than 50 years ago in Kvareli, with Mtsvane, fermented and aged together on the skins in buried qvevri with no temperature control, no additives, and no cultured yeast. The result carries the pale gold color and silky, fine-tannin texture typical of the style, with peach and spring-herb notes that hold up to more assertive food than a typical Georgian white.
