The fourth edition of the Single Rickhouse series, Camp Nelson E draws from barrels on the fifth floor of a rickhouse built in 1946 — one of five still standing on Wild Turkey's Camp Nelson campus in Jessamine County. Set back from the main property, shaded by trees, with its rear wall facing the Kentucky River, the building produces whiskey that's markedly different from its neighbors: darker, more intensely extracted, with a profile that reviewers have called "Wild Turkey cranked to 11."

Eddie Russell hand-selected these barrels at barrel strength, non-chill filtered, and released them at 128 proof — the highest in the series to date. The mash bill is the classic Wild Turkey recipe: 75% corn, 13% rye, 12% malted barley, aged in No. 4 alligator char new American oak. Age is not stated but Eddie Russell has confirmed the series draws from stocks aged 10 to 15 years.

Rare Bird 101, the preeminent Wild Turkey-focused review site, called it "the best of the lot" — higher praise than any prior Single Rickhouse entry. The nose leads with cherry crème brûlée and dark chocolate; the palate delivers cola, medicinal cherry, and sweet charred oak; the finish runs long with leather, tobacco, and clove.
