Sango is the first African agave spirit to reach US shelves — made from wild Agave Americana sourced from the Karoo desert and Agave Salmiana from the Eastern Cape, both hand-harvested when field BRIX hits 24–35. The agave is pit and oven roasted, fermented in open-top vats with Drakensberg river water and wild yeast, then double distilled through copper pot and column stills. Nothing added before bottling.

The Reposado rests in South African red wine barrels — pinotage casks specifically — for up to 12 months. Pinotage brings a distinctly earthy, dark-fruited complexity that you won't find in any Mexican reposado. The result is familiar to any agave drinker, with a savory, umami edge that earned Silver at the 2024 IWSC.
