Stagg Jr. launched in 2013 as an accessible entry to the George T. Stagg profile: the same low-rye Mash Bill #1, bottled uncut and non-chill-filtered at whatever proof the barrels give up. The name changed to Stagg in 2022, but the approach hasn't moved. There is no age statement on the label.
Batch 25C arrived in winter 2025 at 125.6 proof, the lowest the line has ever been bottled, and it drinks softer still. Classic caramel and vanilla lead, black pepper and baking spice sit behind them, and it closes on drying toasted oak rather than the dark-fruit weight some older batches carried.
