Stagg Jr. launched in 2013 as an accessible entry to the George T. Stagg profile — same low-rye Mash Bill #1, aged roughly 8–10 years, bottled uncut and non-chill-filtered at barrel proof. The name changed to Stagg in 2022, but the approach hasn't moved.
Batch 25A came in at 126.5 proof — on the lower end of the range — and reviewers called it a return to form after a rough 2024 run. Strawberry-forward and caramel-driven, with the classic cherry hots that make this line distinctive in the barrel-proof category.
