Stagg Jr Barrel Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Batch #24B 127.8 Pf 750ml

USA : KENTUCKY : FRANKFORT

Buffalo Trace Mash Bill #1 (high corn, low rye, malted barley)

FULL-BODIED, CHERRY, STRAWBERRY, CARAMEL, CINNAMON, COCOA

Batch 24B is the second Stagg release of 2024 and the 25th batch since the line launched as Stagg Jr. in 2013 — the Jr. came off the label in 2022, so this bottle reads simply Stagg. It goes into the bottle uncut and non-chill filtered at 127.8 proof, on the lower end of the line's range.

Reviewers keep landing on the same core: cherry and strawberry up front, then caramel, brown sugar and cinnamon heat, with a little cocoa on the finish. More classic Stagg than a departure. A few drops of water open the nose.
