The legend starts in Prohibition-era Templeton, Iowa, where bootleggers Frank Schroeder and Alphonse Kerkhoff made what Al Capone called 'the Good Stuff.' Today's 10 Year Single Barrel has different origins: distilled at MGP of Indiana from a 95% rye mash and aged a decade in new charred American oak. Double-digit age statements on American rye are genuinely rare, and most independent bottlers can't hold barrels this long.

Non-chill filtered and bottled at 104 proof, each barrel is hand-labeled with its individual barrel number. Named Best American Rye Whiskey at the 2025 London Spirits Competition (Gold, 98 pts), with critics from Paste Magazine (8.5/10), Bourbon Culture (8.1/10), and The Whiskey Wash (8/10) all landing in the same range.
