Terralta comes from El Pandillo (NOM 1579) in Jesus Maria — the same distillery as G4, Pasote, and ArteNOM, all under master distiller Felipe Camarena. The distinction is water. Every other brand at 1579 draws from a blend of rainwater and spring water; Terralta uses only the deep well, 150 meters down, pulling mineral-laden water from the iron-rich red clay soils of Los Altos. The result is the most grounded expression in the Camarena lineup — earthy and mineral-forward where the others are floral and clean.

Six to eight months in used American oak keeps barrel influence light: enough to add vanilla, caramel, and baking spice without burying the cooked agave backbone. Double-distilled in copper pot stills, fermented on a proprietary yeast strain in stainless steel. Additive-free, verified by Tequila Matchmaker. Double Gold at the 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
