Juan Ledesma's El Impostor is a pétillant naturel — bottled with fresh grape must, refermented in 500ml beer bottles, and left with the lees intact. No disgorgement, no fining, no filtering. Glowing bright pink with persistent fine bubbles, it delivers sour cherry, cranberry, and a wild freshness that sits somewhere between a sparkling rosé and a farmhouse ale. First made in 2014 from a two-hectare parcel of 20-year-old Cinsault vines farmed organically on granitic soils in Chile's coastal Itata Valley. Drink cold, drink now.
