The Macklowe is a contract-distilled American single malt produced at Wilderness Trail in Danville, Kentucky — 100% malted barley, column still with copper doubler, Kentucky limestone water, and ten hand-selected casks per batch. The Gold Edition carries nearly four years in new American white oak ISC barrels, air-dried 18 months before charring. Non-chill filtered at 46%.

Master Blender Brendan McCarron — formerly of Bunnahabhain and Ledaig — brings Scottish single malt sensibility to a Kentucky production platform. F. Paul Pacult gave it 5 Stars, noting butterscotch, caramel, walnut butter, and dried tropical fruit. Christopher Null at Drinkhacker called it "one of the most delightfully sweet ASM whiskies I've tried to date." WSC 2023 Double Gold, World Whiskies Awards 2024 Silver.
