Named after Hanako — the most famous Japanese koi fish, documented to have lived 226 years in the icy waters at the foot of Mt. Ontake — Snow Maiden is Kizakura Brewery's unfiltered Fushimi classic. Junmai Nigori means no added alcohol and no final filtration: the rice sediment stays in the bottle, building a cloudy, creamy body that makes this the most food-versatile sake we carry.

An SMV of +6.5 puts it technically on the dry side, though the texture reads richer than that number suggests. Shake before pouring to distribute the sediment.
