Weller Single Barrel pulls one barrel at a time from Buffalo Trace's wheated mash bill — the same recipe William Larue Weller pioneered in the 19th century, trading rye for wheat to land a softer grain profile. No blending, bottled at 97 proof, released annually since 2022. Four gold medals in 2024, including San Francisco World Spirits and Denver International.

Nose: cherry, mint, vanilla. Palate: caramel, cocoa, and baking spice with the wheat's characteristic softness underneath. Finish: cinnamon, coffee, trailing pepper. Buffalo Trace recommends it neat — the right call at this proof.
