Windy Trail is a house label from Monsieur Touton, the New York importer who supplies it. There is no estate behind the name, and we would rather say so than imply one.
What it is instead: Willamette Valley fruit from 2022, the largest Pinot Noir harvest the valley has ever recorded. A cool, wet spring gave way to one of the driest and warmest ripening stretches on record, and picking ran two to three weeks late under clear October weather.
Light-bodied and red-fruited, built for the table rather than the cellar. Drink it now.
