Batch Proof is Woodford Reserve's annual Master's Collection release, bottled at the natural proof of the batch rather than proofed down to the standard 90.4. Every barrel comes from the same triple-pot-still mash as the core expression — 72% corn, 18% rye, 10% malted barley — then selected across different production dates and warehouse floors by master distiller Elizabeth McCall and bottled uncut, unfiltered. This year's batch landed at 124.7 proof.
The higher proof concentrates everything the Woodford house style does well. Christopher Null at Drinkhacker rated it A- and called it "a tempting, mouth-watering whiskey that's hard to put down." Bourbon Culture scored it 8.1/10 and flagged the pot-still signature clearly: dark chocolate and cocoa powder alongside toasted pecans, cherry cola, and a cinnamon-peppercorn finish that holds its shape all the way through.
