Tesseron has been distilling in Châteauneuf-sur-Charente since 1905, supplying eaux-de-vie in bulk to the biggest Cognac houses for nearly a century before releasing under their own label in 2003. The Composition is their entry point — Fine Champagne, four years in Limousin oak, sourced from both Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne. Fine Champagne is not a step down from either cru; it is the designation reserved for blends that draw from both of the region's top two.

Built by Alfred and Noé Tesseron with Master Blender Romain Martial. Dry apricot and stewed plum on the nose, rounding into milk chocolate and cinnamon through the palate. Eighty proof.
