FRANCE : LOIRE : TOURAINE : VOUVRAY
Chenin Blanc
MED-BODIED, OFF-DRY, TROPICAL FRUIT, GREEN APPLE, CITRUS, FLINT, HONEY, NO OAK
When it comes to capturing the unique mineral tones of Vouvray’s soil, no one quite competes with Bernard Fouquet — a quiet, serious man who has been making some of the region’s best wines of the past few vintages. Crafted from 50 to 60 year-old vines, his ‘Cuvée de Silex’ (“silex” means “flint” in French) has explosively bright fruit and just a touch of sweetness. Simply a gorgeous wine!
Ready to drink, but may age 3-5 years.
