From two flint-clay parcels in the heart of Vouvray, the Cuvée de Silex (“silex” is French for “flint”) is the signature expression of Domaine des Aubuisières — vines averaging 50 to 60 years old, fermented entirely in stainless steel, defined by the struck-stone minerality of its perruches soil. Simply a gorgeous wine!

The domaine is now in the hands of Charles Lesaffre, who joined founder Bernard Fouquet as an associate in 2019 and took the reins fully in 2021. Ready to drink, but may age 3–5 years.
