A concentrated, powerful blend of more than twenty indigenous varietals from 80 year old vines (“Vinhas Velhas” means “old vines” in Portuguese). Spontaneous fermentation with ambient yeasts occurs in traditional granite lagar (1000L); the wine is then aged in used French oak barrels for 3 months. Unfined; unfiltered.
