A super Tuscan-style wine made from mostly Sangiovese and about 10% Merlot; the freshness and acidity from the first is nicely balanced by the softness of the second and the wine’s fine, polished tannins. Aged for 10-14 months in French Allier barriques and 5-6 months in bottle.

Pale ruby in color, with delicate fruit, fine tannins, fresh acidity, and nice depth; definitely has potential for aging but can easily be enjoyed now. Fermented in traditional lagares w/manual treading; aged 12 mos in french oak used barrels.

It’s a rare wine that can certainly be enjoyed young (now) or held for potentially as long as decade (if you can wait!).
