Kings County uses 80% organic New York corn from a single Finger Lakes farm and 20% English Golden Promise malted barley — a high-malt mashbill closer to Scotch whisky than typical Kentucky bourbon. The mash is double pot distilled in copper stills, then aged four to seven years in new charred oak before blending.

Founded in Brooklyn in 2010, Kings County was the first distillery to operate in New York City since Prohibition. The Straight Bourbon has earned Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition (2019) and Platinum at ASCOT (2022). Both the bottle and the whiskey have become benchmarks for American craft bourbon.
