The name “La Caña” pays homage to the "cañas"—straw-like reeds that line the shores of Galicia’s rías (coastal inlets), where the Albariño grape first caught Jorge Ordóñez’s eye. His mission:to honor traditional, authentic expressions of Albariño, steering clear of mass-market, overly simplistic versions.
