OREGON : WILLAMETTE VALLEY
Pinot Gris
MED-FULL-BODIED, KEY LIME, LYCHEE, WHITE PEACH, STONE, BRIOCHE, NO OAK
Nicknamed the "King of Pinot," King Estate Winery is credited for popularizing and reinventing Pinot Gris (aka Pinot Grigio, but don't think of it that way) in the US. The Domaine Pinot Gris is one of their premier bottlings: luscious, juicy, and round, it has layers of bright tropical and stone fruit (think lychee, kumquat, and white pear), elegant minerality, and wonderfully refreshing, balanced acidity.

OREGON : WILLAMETTE VALLEY
Pinot Noir
MED-BODIED, STRAWBERRY, BLACKBERRY, WET STONE, CLOVE, VANILLA, NEW OAK
This soft, somewhat brooding expression of Willamette Pinot Noir comes from the Four Winds vineyard in the McMinnville Coast Range. Planted in 1990 with Pommard clone Pinot Noir, the high elevation and uniquely shallow volcanic soils here result in lean, fresh, and acid-driven wines with distinct mineral tones and rich berry fruit.
FARMING : Sustainable
PAIRING : Chicken and Mushroom Marsala
