The vines of Cinsault were planted in 1885 and you can sense the weight of the age on the palate. Great aromas of ripe summer red cherry, red plums, with accents of purple flowers. Soft baking spice on the palate with rocky minerality and a beautiful interplay of earth.
Gideon Beinstock does tremendous work with Cinsault that show the beauty of the grape. This may be the last vintage of this cuvee that he does for the time being.
