This beautifully balanced Bordeaux blend from the historic Napanook Vineyard (a 124-acre site west of Yountville in Napa Valley) has round, soft tannins and expressive floral aromatics surrounding layers of rich dark fruit and savory hints of cedar and chocolate. Aged in 20% new oak; has immediate appeal but will keep for 10-15 years.

Est. 1997 by the d'Aulan family (former owners of Piper-Heidsieck), Alta Vista aims to produce wines that express the best terroirs of Argentina, focusing on traditional varieties like Malbec and Torrontés (they produced the first single-vineyard Malbec in Argentina!). Structured and intense, the Estate Cabernet Sauvignon has deep black fruit aromas and smooth, rich tannins.
WINEMAKING : Aged 50% in lightly toasted French oak for 12 months + 6 months in bottle before release.
