A cask strength sherried scotch that delivers on the nice toffee and chocolate notes that we expect from a sherried cask but also it's surprisingly smooth and elegant for its high ABV. A really special dram for those who love sherried whisky.

Est. in 2003 in the foothills of the highest part of the Andes, the name “Andeluna” is a poetic homage to the world’s most extensive mountain range, and to the “moon that baths it in light.” Fleshy, and intense, the “Altitud” is an authoritative wine with concentrated fruit, ripe tannins, and a lasting finish supported by necessary acidity.

CALIFORNIA : SONOMA COUNTY : RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY
Pinot Noir
MED-FULL-BODIED, FIG, BLACK PLUM, CLOVE, COFFEE, COCOA POWDER, HAY, TOAST, OAK
A dark and compelling example of Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley. Rich, perfumed dark fruit aromas on the nose are met by spicy black fig, coffee, cocoa powder, and oak toast flavors on the palate. Undeniably a dense and brooding wine, it remains lifted and nuanced, with a lovely softness to the mouthfeel and a gratifyingly long finish that carries notes of clove, nutmeg, and other barrel spices.

CALIFORNIA : SANTA BARBARA COUNTY
Pinot Noir
MED-BODIED, STRAWBERRY, BLACKBERRY, RASPBERRY, CHERRY ANISE, CLOVE, OAK
Listed on Robert Parker’s Best Wineries of the World in both 1989 & 1999, Au Bon Climate (which is owned by renowned winemaker Jim Clendenen) has achieved an almost mythic level of celebrity in the wine world … and rightly so, in our opinion! Food-friendly and age-worthy, the 2019 Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara County punches way above its price point with mouth filling intensity and suppleness. Still quite young, it should remain “fresh” for the next 6-7 years, but will become more complex & continue to improve with age.
